Ever since its creation in 2014, Le Fournil, a family-owned artisan bakery found in Pointe aux Canonniers, proudly upholds the finest French baking traditions.
Behind these traditions is a love for the simple things in life: a fresh croissant, a sweet treat, a steaming cup of coffee… Our beautiful team of about 20 people is dedicated to the task every morning to bring you these simple, flavourful moments. Additionally, all our products are handmade by our bakers and bring together the finest ingredients from France, Europe and Mauritius. All this to obtain, with each bite, these same unmistakable aromas, flavours and textures which characterise all Le Fournil products.
In 2017, popular demand led us to open another Le Fournil bakery on Chemin Vingt Pieds, Grand Baie. Today, we continue to grow and innovate… Every month sees the birth of a new recipe, the unveiling of a new product. In 2019, we even introduced a most delectable “chocolates” section in our bakeries on the island.
